"Friendship isn't a big thing...It's a million little things."
Sometimes in life, two peoples' paths cross...and realizing you share so much in common, a strong bond of friendship is forged.
The idea for this venture began in a little log cabin in Northern Arizona in early 2005. Snowed in and sitting in front of the fireplace it was borne both from our friendship, and from our shared love of dogs as our "Best Friends".
BARB ARMSTRONG has been training dogs for almost 30 years, competing for nearly twenty of them. She has trained numerous breeds and sizes of dogs from a small Yorkie to an 85-lb. Retriever.
While showing her Boxer they were ranked #2 in the nation in competitive Obedience.
She has put numerous breed championships on her dogs in the United States, Mexico, and Germany.
In field events her retrievers have enjoyed multiple high-level titles through WCX and Senior Hunter. "Sailor", her multi-talented dog was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000.
Agility has brought new-found fun, earning many Master Agility titles in both Jumpers and Standard courses. Her love of dogs is apparent. She has a very "in-tune, upbeat" style of training which dogs respond to with eagerness and a desire to please.
